Recipe: Paleo Ketchup



  1. Place
    the dates in a small bowl and cover with hot water. Soak for 15
  2. Drain
    the dates and place in a blender along with the other ingredients.
  3. Puree
    until smooth, about 3 minutes.
  4. Simmer
    on medium-low for 30 minutes.
  5. Let
    the ketchup cool to room temperature and place it in an airtight
    container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. The ketchup can be
    frozen for up to 6 months. Freeze it in an airtight container or bag
    and defrost in the refrigerator overnight.
