The answer is no I’m not. I feel more full and less hungry all the time. That’s because the whole foods that I’m eating are so nutrient dense and filling that they tell my body, ” Hey everything’s cool here, you don’t need anymore”. Rather then my brain before when it was overridden by the chemicals produced when you eat too much sugar saying, ” More, more there’s lots of room left and we are starving !”. But that’s a whole other blog.
So what’s on the menu at my house on a regular day? See for yourself
- 4 eggs scrambled (2 white, 2 whole)
- 3 pcs natural bacon (Nitrate Free)
- 1 banana
- Black coffee
- Chicken breast on a mixed salad full greens and veggies
- Sugar free vinaigrette
- Coconut water
- Pork chops with homemade apple sauce
- Roasted sweet potatoes and parsnip
- Steamed cauliflower
- Yonanas frozen dessert or fruit
I also snack throughout the day on fruits, nuts and veggies. I drink allot of water and the occasional Perrier or coconut water.
You get to a point where you don’t even think or are about the old junk you used to eat all the time. Take out is non existent, and dining out is so much of a hastle we forgo it unless it’s a social outing.
If you are going to a party when you know you might get In trouble, take a dish you know you can have or a dessert that you can indulge in. You can always tell your hosts before hand and most likely it will be no problem to help you out in your dietary needs.
Don’t be embarrassed because you are making healthy choices for you and who knows maybe you will inspire someone too!
