Description

COLONY PRESERVATION VIALS

Colony Preservation Vials are sterile vials that contain sterile distilled water that is nutrient-free. These vials are used to store a small colony of mushroom mycelium for extended storage periods. By storing the mycelium in a nutrient-free environment, it can be stored for long periods (5 to 10+ or even more years) of time without the risk of contamination. Each Colony Preservation Vial is sterile and ready to use.

Green Grass Grove and Project Aurora’sΒ Colony Preservation Vials (CPV) are used for preserving legal mycelium colonies and other fungi colonies for long term storage. We have Liquid Culture Syringes only for the cultivation of legal mushrooms varieties like Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster, Black Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Shitake, Chicken of the Woods, Hen of the Woods, Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Wine Cap, etc.

We take every precaution to ensure that our Colony Preservation Vials are of the highest quality and purity possible, and they will come directly from our Master Cultures. However, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness, safety, or purity of any products purchased from us, as mycelium cultivation and use can be highly variable and unpredictable. Patrons assume all risks and liabilities associated with mycelium cultivation and use.

It is important to note that NONE of our Colony Preservation Vials contain any psilocybin compound containing cultures.

We believe in promoting responsible and legal use of our products, and as such, we only offer Colony Preservation Vials from mushroom species that are legally allowed to be cultivated. These cultures include Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster, Black Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Yellow Oyster, Chicken of the Woods, Shiitake, Hen of the Woods, Black/Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Wine Cap and so on.

WE DO NOT OFFER ANY COLONY PRESERVATION VIALS CONTAINING PSILOCYBIN OR SIMILAR COMPOUNDS AS WE DO NOT CULTIVATE ANY ILLEGAL MUSHROOM!

The reason why Green Grass Grove does not offer Colony Preservation Vials of any Psilocybin or similar illegal mushrooms is because the cultivation and distribution of such mushrooms are illegal in many parts of the world. Green Grass Grove operates within the bounds of the law and only cultivates and distributes legal mushroom species such as Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster, Black Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Shitake, Hen of the Woods, Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Wine Cap, etc.

CPV (2-Year Guarantee) Details

At Green Grass Grove, we take pride in providing our Patrons with high-quality, reliable Colony Preservation Vials that are effective and easy to use. We offer a 2-year guarantee that the vial will remain viable for 2 years or we will replace the colony (just pay for shipping of replacement genetics). This offers the peace of mind knowing that you have a long-term storage option. Each vial created is personally inspected, and a unique ID is assigned to each vial for quality control. We only offer a replacement on the first vial that we send. In the event that we are out of stock of the certain genetic, Patrons will have the option to choose a similar genetic or wait until we have the genetic back in stock at a later time. To submit a claim, Patrons will need to go to the Support Center at https://greengrassgrove.com/new/help/.

To ensure that your colony preservation vial is valid for the 2-year guarantee, it must be in its original vial packaging with the Unique ID holographic genuine security tag sticker intact. It should be stored in either a fridge that does not get below 34 degrees Fahrenheit, or in a dark, cool place indoors that is not exposed to extended periods of UV light. The colony preservation vial must remain in its original condition until it is being used. Please note that we will require proof of when you opened the package in order to be eligible for replacement colonies.

There are two ways to provide proof of when you opened the CPV package. The first and easiest method is to use the Support Center and follow the steps under the Warranties & Guarantees Category. The second is to take a timestamped and unaltered video of the opening and inspection of the mycelium. Once we have documented the date of the opening of the CPV, the vial will have a 30 calendar day grace period for any replacement colony claims once the seal has been removed and the package has been opened.

Please note that it is important to use the Support Center when deciding to use the colony preservation vial so that you preserve your date and can easily make a quick claim for replacement colonies. Green Grass Grove will not be held responsible for any damages or issues that arise from improper storage or handling of the colony preservation vial.

Green Grass Grove reserves the right to refuse replacement if we determine we are being taken advantage of or scammed.
