Description

COLONY SLANTS

Our Colony Slants are test tubes containing nutrient-rich agar combined with a wooden stirring stick that is used to store mushroom mycelium for extended periods (6 – 12 months or possibly even longer). Each Colony Slants contains a single strain of mushroom mycelium, and can be stored for long periods of time. Our colony slants are a great choice for those who want to keep their mushroom cultures for future use, or for those who want to share their cultures with others.

Green Grass Grove and Project Aurora’sΒ Colony Slants (CS) are used for preserving legal mycelium colonies and other fungi colonies for long term storage. We have Colony Slants only for the cultivation of legal mushrooms varieties like Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster, Black Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Shitake, Chicken of the Woods, Hen of the Woods, Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Wine Cap, etc.

We take every precaution to ensure that ourΒ Colony Slants are of the highest quality and purity possible and they will come directly from our Master Cultures. However, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness, safety, or purity of any products purchased from us, as mycelium cultivation and use can be highly variable and unpredictable. Patrons assume all risks and liabilities associated with mycelium cultivation and use.

It is important to note that NONE of ourΒ Colony Slants contain any psilocybin compound containing cultures.

We believe in promoting responsible and legal use of our products, and as such, we only sellΒ Colony Slants from mushroom species that are legally allowed to be cultivated. These include Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster, Black Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Shitake, Hen of the Woods, Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Wine Cap, and others.

WE DO NOT OFFER ANY COLONY SLANTS CONTAINING PSILOCYBIN OR SIMILAR COMPOUNDS AS WE DO NOT CULTIVATE ANY ILLEGAL MUSHROOM!

The reason why Green Grass Grove does not offerΒ Colony Slants of any Psilocybin or similar illegal mushrooms is because the cultivation and distribution of such mushrooms are illegal in many parts of the world. Green Grass Grove operates within the bounds of the law and only cultivates and distributes legal mushroom species such as Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster, Black Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Shitake, Hen of the Woods, Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Wine Cap, etc.

As for Project Aurora, the collective members source spore prints/swabs/syringes from legal and reputable sources. This ensures that the spores used for cultivation are of high quality and free from contamination. By sourcing spores from legal sources, Project Aurora operates within the bounds of the law and maintains ethical standards in their operations.

It is important for both Green Grass Grove and Project Aurora to operate within the confines of the law to ensure the safety of their patrons and members, as well as to maintain their integrity as responsible and ethical collective.
