A Spore Print is a collection of spores that has been taken from the gills of a mushroom. The spores are typically collected on a piece of sterile aluminum foil or glass slide. Spore prints are an excellent way to store and share mushroom spores.
At Green Grass Grove and Project Aurora, we take pride in our commitment to providing our customers with high-quality spore prints collected from healthy and vibrant fruiting bodies of various mushroom species. Our careful selection process ensures optimal genetics and the highest quality spores for microscopy purposes, allowing you to explore the intricate and fascinating world of fungi up close and in detail.
We believe in promoting responsible and legal use of our products, and as such, we only collect and sell spores from mushroom species that are legally allowed to be cultivated. These include Lion’s Mane, Pink Oyster, Black Oyster, Pearl Oyster, Shitake, Hen of the Woods, Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Wine Cap, and others.
It’s important to note that while we do sell spores containing psilocybin and similar compounds, these spores are strictly for educational and research purposes in microscopy, and any cultivation or consumption of these mushrooms is illegal. Our trusted and highly skilled members of the Project Aurora Collective obtain these spores legally and with the utmost care and responsibility.
We invite you to explore our selection of spore prints and discover the wonder and beauty of mushrooms through the lens of a microscope. With our commitment to quality and responsibility, you can trust that our spore prints will provide an excellent educational and research experience for both seasoned mushroom enthusiasts and curious beginners.
Please Note: Additional terms & restrictions apply for any spore swab that may contain any mushroom species that may contain psilocybin or similar compounds.

We take every step necessary to ensure the quality and purity of our mycelium/spore products. However, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness, safety, or purity of any products purchased from us, as mushroom cultivation and use can be highly variable and unpredictable.
