Stargazer (PC-Strain)
PC-Strain βStargazerβ is a species of mushroom that has a unique and distinct appearance. The caps are typically light brown in color with a slightly curved shape, while the stems are long and slender, often reaching up to 8-10 cm in length.
Stargazers have a long and rich history, with traditional uses and rituals associated with the mushroom in many cultures around the world. In the Andes Mountains, where the Stargazer strain was originally found growing near ancient Inca ruins, shamans sought out the cloud city of Machu Picchu for a deeper connection to the spirits believed to protect the area. The natives of the area believed that everything was deeply alive, from the stones on the structures to the rivers and streams that intersect through the mountain valley. The Stargazer strain has also gained recognition in notable sources, including Paul Stametsβ 1970s book, βThe Mushroom Cultivator.β
