Lithops requires bright light, fast drainage, and restrained irrigation. Protect from prolonged freezes and summer saturation. Seasonal watering errors quickly cause rot.
Repot at the beginning of active growth, keeping the crown at the correct depth and protecting plants from summer rain and winter cold.

Spacing: Grow individual heads with 1–2 inches of open mineral surface around them and ample airflow.

Planting Depth: Set seed, crowns, offsets, root flares, graft unions, and bog crowns at species-appropriate depth.

Pollination: Usually not needed unless saving seed or producing fruit such as dragon fruit/prickly pear. Some dragon fruit types may need hand pollination or another variety.
